Orale Latina is an new up and coming ezine that reflects the real diversity of Latina American women. It aims to bridge all Latinas everywhere and shows where we overlap despite our differences.
Although "Orale" will have a strong Mexican-American Latina flavor, it focuses on the hyphen culture and ultimately the humanity from which we all draw our compassion for one another - despite politics and other things that segregate us within our own communities.
Here, you will read essays, short stories, poetry, op-eds, news, and journals from everyday Latinas who are striving, hurting, healing, struggling and overcoming all the nuances of their daily lives. This ezine is about how we can better our quality of life, not by looking better, but by knowing who we are, by inspiring and helping each other with our honesty.
So, let us build este puente and inspire each other. With the way things are going … do we really have a choice?
